Gourmet report
I was looking for a good dipping noodle so I came here to Shakariki in Senbon Marutamachi today. It’s a small restaurant, but the inside is very clean. It was popular on Twitter once a while, so I was interested in trying this restaurant.

Most of the seats are at counter like all other Kyoto ramen restaurants.
I ordered the richly seafood flavored dipping noodle with extra noodles. It’s quite a big volume as you see in the picture! The soup has seafood flavored but it’s not like soy sauce ramen. It’s more like pork-soy sauce base….
I recommend that you mix the dipping soup before eating because the fish pounder is accumulated at the bottom of the bowl. The noodle has a medium thickness and is curly.
The interesting thing about this dipping noodle is that there is a huge bamboo shoot and large chunks of roasted pork in it. There is free pickle of chives to add in the soup on the counter.
Not like I expected, it wasn’t heavy, so it didn’t upset my stomach. The flavor suits me since I love to eat ramen in Kyoto.
The cost of the noodle was ¥930. It is a little more expensive than other places… I wondered if it’s because of the location.
