Kyoto Rakusai bamboo forest park

Kyoto City’s western New town is also known as a new town surrounded by bamboo, located in the Oeda and Oharano of the bamboo region. However, because a lot of bamboo was cut down by the construction of the new town, the Bamboo Grove Park was opened hearing the voice of actively saving the remaining bamboo grove.

The Bamboo Museum is designed in the image of Japanese style architecture, there is also a tea room, so you can use it for a tea ceremony.

Since the ecological garden is designed as a Japanese style garden, you can observe the ecology of bamboo and bamboo trees while strolling around the promenade.

In addition, the historical sites of the Onin War and Oda Nobunaga are exhibited and will give a strong impression on those who enter the entrance.
