I got a call from my friend, and we went to eat the Masutani at the Ramen Koji on the 10th floor of the JR Kyoto Station building. The original restaurant is located by the Ginkaku Temple, and it’s famous for the pork-soy sauce base as the Kyoto ramen. This Kyoto station branch has same tastes as the original shop.

It’s a really popular place. There was a line in front of the restaurant when we got there. I ordered the Roasted pork fillets ramen with rice, and my friend got a large ramen.

Their taste were really good, but the portions were small compared to the other ramen shops. I will recommend ordering extra noodles.

You also can get the Masutani’s raw noodle with soup at the super markets in Kyoto. I think it’s really good and easy to cook at home. It could be a good souvenir of Kyoto too.
