Kyoto residents who like to save money

I am doing pretty well. I need a lot of money for the future.

The ranking of savings by prefecture was posted.

Kyoto residents are doing pretty well.
The average is 22.1 million yen and the median 9.78 million yen. It is second only to Tokyo residents.

Frankly, it is an amount of money that makes me think “how can one save this much on a salary from a company in Kyoto.
Are some very rich people driving up the average?

I’m also stingy, but Kyoto people are generally stingy.
Or rather, it is a land where you have to be a cheapskate to live.

People who are loose with their money are leaving Kyoto one after another.
Well, in the old days, it would be called “falling from the capital. (Whether Kyoto is the capital today is debatable, though.)

Maybe that’s what attracts the stingy rich and pushes up the average savings.

But Kurama Tengu can’t think of leaving Kyoto.
