The first chapter: Symbiotic society of wisdom and compassion.

Symbiotic society of wisdom and compassion…

That is a way of a society where people share the teachings of various buddhas and live together and support each other through wisdom and compassion. People connect with each other on the common ground of the various teachings of Buddha, and live this present time together hand in hand. It is such a way of a society.

The connection is gentle, warm, and gradual, yet has an unwavering strength that can never be broken.

How many months have passed since then? I, Jokai Saikobo saw the world of the paradise Jodo that appeared on earth with my own eyes on that day. The Land of Ultimate Bliss, where numerous Buddhas and Bodhisattvas protect and share their teachings, and live together and support each other through wisdom and compassion. That land was called…

Padma, the land of paradise on earth.

Great lotus flowers blooming in the paradise on earth

People living there were sharing the teachings of various Buddhas in each sanctuary and was engraving the certain now living together and supporting each other through wisdom and compassion. Although the world is a crossroads of vexation and bodhi (peaceful enlightenment), light and darkness, and there has been some conflict, I still remember well that even there, thanks to Buddhism’s role as a buffer, the conflict did not turn into a major conflict.

What makes such a symbiotic society of wisdom and compassion possible is the spirit of the three separate paths.
It is the following three paths.

One: the path of politics (the symbiotic politics of wisdom and compassion)
Two: the path of economy (the symbiotic economy of wisdom and compassion)
Three: the path of Buddhist Laws (sacred biography of the great Nyoraizo Jodo)

These three paths are just the most important paths to realize Buddhism’s “harmony” and “symbiotic” peace.

One: the path of politics (the symbiotic politics of wisdom and compassion)
The symbiotic politics of wisdom and compassion. Sharing the teachings of Buddhas and support and alive each other through wisdom and compassion. Specifically, it is that to do what you can do for someone from your standing point. Each of us accumulates the good doings as a Bodhisattva (the person who strives to save this world) and acquires practical wisdom to resolve various problems. Make yourself at ease with the wisdom, and also all lives including others. Basing the teachings of Buddha (sacred biography of the great Nyoraizo), each of us supports the world being responsible as a Bodhisattva.

Two: the path of the economy (the symbiotic economy of wisdom and compassion)
The living with little desires and being satisfied- happiness with wisdom not things. The economy with little desires and being satisfied. Being satisfied knowing it is enough with only a little. It is said to gain maximum happiness with minimal expenditure. Transformation. From satisfaction of materialistic and quantity to the satisfaction of mental and quality supported by Buddhism’s wisdom and compassion. Each of us seeks happiness through wisdom and makes economic activity of little desires and being satisfied. And we also preserve the earth environment, our mutual asset.

And the most important of the three paths is the path of the Buddha Dharma.

The path of the Buddha Dharma is based entirely on the “Sacred Biographies of the Great Nyoraizo Jodo.” This sacred biography is the foundation of the political and economic paths, and the spiritual foundation of all things living in Padma.
