Good morning!
This is Kurama Tengu^^.

There is a shopping mall called Kitaoji VIVRE besides Rakuhoku Hankyu Square I introduced the other day in the northern part of Kyoto city where I am living in. This shopping mall’s first floor is Kitaoji bus terminal and its underground floor is Kitaoji Station of Subway Karasuma Line and very convenient for transportation.

Kitaoji VIVRE

Transferred from beatmania ⅡDX game center map.

Inside the shopping mall, there are various shops such as Koyo which sells foods, food courts, the barber QB house and so on. I don’t drive so I don’t know about the parking lots, (I think there was.), parking is free up to two hours for both bicycles and motorbikes. Well, I’m sure you can get most of your errands done in two hours, if you talk to someone in a coffee shop, you may find yourself saying “Oh no!” after two hours.

The food department Kouyo is, whichever to say, the shop handling high-quality foods. My family sometimes go shopping there and there are many foods which are delicious but pricy.
Also, according to what other people say, Tokai, the ticket seller, is famous for good purchase value for gold certificates.

I always visited QB house here for having my hair cut.
I came here by motorbike, but it was hard to park it in a narrow parking lot and I had a little hard time there.
And, it is inconvenient that we need to go up the stairs from the parking lot to the floor the shop is located on.

It would be more convenient if it were possible to easily enter VIVRE from Kitaoji subway station, just as it is possible to enter Yodobashi Camera from Kyoto subway station via the underground passage.

The first floor, which is the most important floor, also has a circular event area in the middle, but it is not good because it is made in such a way that we have to look at products we do not want in order to go to the back of the building. I wonder it is inconvenient because Kyoto City designed the building.

Sorts of a coffee shop are near the entrance, and there is also a Starbucks.
There are many young female customers inside the shop.

Anyway, there is a time limit for two-hour free parking for bicycles, and it is my honest feeling that I don’t have the heart to take the time to look around the second and third floors. As parking for bicycles are completely free in Rakuhoku Hankyu Square, the convenience differs in that regard. Those who are living nearby and can walk to this shopping mall might have different feelings against it.
