A lot of people bustling around.

Higashi city in city of Kyoto, Heiankyo. Everything and every people support their lives as they are under the mutually diverse relationships there. Each person living there works hard for the others forgetting themselves as they are as Savior who stive for salvation in this world. There is no discrimination nor distinction there. All are the Bodhisattva living now.

I can see its appearance clearly. The steps of each person in this world finally connect to all and create the world of connection which is there as it is. I can see the state clearly. And I am allowed to live in the linkage of these big lives.

As I am so, we are never alone. We all are allowed to live under the highly diverse relationships. Everyone is accumulating good doings as Bodhisattva who work hard for others forgetting themselves as they are in this connection. As the activities of people in Higashi city are so.

My great master, Amida Buddha. So, I recite your name. Because I extol from my heart that what you taught me, the truth of “everything is empty” I taught me is certainly truth. In Higashi city in city of Kyoto, under the bustle and hustle of it, I recite the name, spreading out the straw mat, sitting down there, setting up a beggar tray in front of me, and beggaring foods calmly.

“Namu Amida Butu, Amida Butu. Namu Amida Butu, Amida Butu.”

Namu means believing and entrusting and Namu Amida Butu means to live enlisting yourself in the endless light of Amida. I just enlisting myself in the truth of “empty” earnestly. I’ll throw all of myself into the truth of “empty”.

Everything in this world does not originally have any fixed entity. It is because things are formed when highly diverse relationships, highly diverse factors and conditions mix each other. Just under the relationships, we become Bodhisattva of working hard for others while forgetting ourselves.

I keep reciting “Namu Amida Butu” without a break, leaving it to my mouth and just earnestly now. Then, Amida Buddha becomes the voice and appears in front of me as sigh. Although it takes the form of invisible, it makes its appearance in front of me along with my Nenbutu-like voice. Therefore, the city of Kyoto is the arene where the thought of Amida Buddha is explained.

I’ll throw away all things. In accordance with your thought. I’ll throw away all things. I throw away myself which recite Nenbutu in the empty world, myself seeking for Jodo, wisdom, foolishness, discrimination and distinction, the boundaries between good and bad, and even the theory of the people with high status and the people of low status.
I just thoroughly throw away everything now, and my mind assimilates with the paradise and reach to the self-effacement of emptiness and no phase.

“Namu Amida Butu, Amida Butu, Namu Amida Butu, Amida Butu”

Here is western Jodo, the paradise Jodo where Buddha is there, paradise Kyoto where Buddha is there. I’ll reborn in Jodo enlisting myself in the thought of “empty” Amida Buddha shows. I’ll reborn in paradise Jodo.

I am living now together throwing all away. I quietly keep reciting “Namu Amida Butu” in the place, in the city of Kyoto. I keep reciting, leaving it to my mouth, as the person who holds the thought of “empty” in myself, as the servant of Amida Buddha, as a beggar monk who sell himself in the city, and as Kuya Saya.

What I wear is poor clothing up to the knees. (Rokuhie) While putting my feet out to make it easier to walk, I put on the straw shoes on my bare feet. With antler wand on my left hand, and a clove-shaped wooden bell hammer on my right hand, I hit the shoko hanging around the neck with the wooden hammer.

I keep reciting from my mouth while tapping corn, corn.

I returned to the city in order to work hard for someone by throwing all and forgetting self.
I am here today as well in Higashi city in the city of Kyoto, Heiankyo in 938.(Tenkei 1)
And keep reciting Nenbutu here.

“Namu Amida Butu, Amida Butu. Namu Amida Butu, Amida Butu”
