November 23 in 2018.
The third location I went for autumn leaves in this season, I went to Matsuo Taisha Shrine located in Nishikyo Ward.(^o^)/
I can go to there by one bus from my company (LLC Shishin), which is very convenient. It is said that Matsuo Taisha Shrine enshrines the God of sake, sake barrels are stacked in its precincts.
And local vegetables are dedicated to Mai-den. I wonder that the vegetables produced in Sagano are delicious.
The buildings are well organized, if I say, it was a glittering shrine. The autumn leaves I had expected was not I had imagined, though… After all, there is no shrine that can be famous place for autumn leaves.
Since I came here to take pictures for the site this time, I paid money to view its gardens.

First, Kyokusui no Niwa.
It is expressing the place of Yayoi where Heian aristocracies got used to. I felt it was a little artistic.
Second, ancient garden.
I heard it was a garden which mimic the Iwaza on the mountains of Matsuo and made at the foot of the mountain. I felt it a little sober.
And when going further, there was a waterfall called a waterfall of mysterious turtle.
I had a stomachache after I drank water here. (bitter smile)
And lastly Horai Garden.
It is a garden whose whole shape that installed the strolling garden in Kamakura era looks like crane with spread wings. It is a respectable garden, isn’t it? There were also carps in the pond.
Although there are many shrines whose structures are relatively simple designs, I thought this shrine, Matsuo Taisha shrine was a place with respectable buildings and gardens and was a worthwhile tourist attraction. A fashionable Mitarashi dumpling shop just outside the garden creates a atmosphere that tempts me to visit just in case ( I won’t visit, though.)
One kilometer walking to the south from here, I also visit Tsukiyomi shrine. (^o^)
I will talk about the further information in the next posting.
