Hello.
This is Kurama Tengu.( ̄▽ ̄)b
Today, I’d like to talk about the digital camera I am using when taking pictures of sightseeing spots.
The first camera I used for photo posting on this site was the compact digital camera produced by Minolta. This was the early products of compact cameras, and it was highly rated as it reflected natural color of its objects in price.com reviews, However, the photos weren’t actually not good because it reflected the colors badly. Therefore, I decided to buy digital single-lens reflex camera.
For this reason, I changed my digital camera in 2009. This time, I chose the brand called PowershotSX110IS by Canon, with much focus on image quality. I could take so-so great pictures with Canon’s color tone correction function. And I took photos and walk in various spots of Kyoto with this camera. At that time I was largely benefited by disability certificate issued by Kyoto city as it provided some free public transportation, and people with it were discounted their admission fees to some temples, and saved me money for taking photos inside the temples.

As I gradually knew more about my camera, I found what is important when taking good pictures of temples and building in general was the wide angle of camera lens. I couldn’t take pictures that I drew since Powershot was a kind of camera which is strong in telephoto and its wide angle of 35 mm was a little higher in number. Therefore, I decided to buy digital single-lens reflex camera daringly.
After I purchased this camera, it meant had two cameras of digital single-lens reflex and Powershot. I decided to buy digital single-lens reflex camera produced by Canon, too as I thought the pictures taken by both digital single-lens camera and compact camera and posted on the same site might cause incompatibility due to their great difference in color tone. And I purchased the model of Canon EOS Kiss X6i EF – S18 -135mm. It was best suited for taking photos of buildings since we can use wide angle up to 18mm in this camera. Furthermore, I think it is just the camera for people who wouldn’t like to take time to retouch each Raw data, since color tone correction will be made to Canon original lighter one. The only difficulties I raise are size and weight. I can’t say that I can take photos holding this camera with me easily.
After the Powershot I mentioned above came to its end, and I bought the camera brand of Powershot SX620HS recently. Athough it is so-so less expensive, it is easy to carry around, and when I want to take better photos I only need to carry digital single-lens reflex camera, so I hope SX620 do positive roles, too. (^_^)
