About Byodoin Hoo-do
Byodo-in is a deeply related temple with Mr. Fujiwara in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture. Since the 17th century, sects combined as Tendai Buddhism and Jodo sect, and now they do not belong to a specific denomination.
As you cross the bridge as soon as you get off at Keihan Uji Station, you will proceed along the approaching path starting from the bridge, there is entrance to Byodo-in.
Autumnal leaves are also beautiful at Byodo-in Temple, but the stately style of the Phoenix Hall(Houou-do) is a highlight. For example, it is a garden like Kinkakuji that looks at architectural beauty from a 360 degree perspective. The figure of Phoenix Hall that shines in the pond is one of the highlights.
