Shimogamo Baikal’s cake

January 6 is my mother’s birthday and she laments often as her birthday celebration is skipped because her birthday is near New Year days…

Kurama Tengu thought to buy cakes in another cake shop for her birthday this year. However, when I noticed suddenly, my father had inspired to do already. Shortcakes of Shimogamo Baikaru. Speaking of Baikaru, that is a cake shop that has been there since my childhood, and my family at that time couldn’t afford to buy cakes used fresh cream at Baitaru and would eat cheap cakes with butter cream at nearby Fujiya. This shop’s cakes are my aspiration for this reason.

This day, my father was careful to buy cakes that looked lively.
Let’s start the opening ceremony immediately.

Today’s main is my mother, so I said I would eat the rest. However, as if my mother took caution, the cake with plenty of fruits at the bottom left was turned to me. It looked delicious with plenty of fruits on it.

When I ate it, plenty of fresh cream was inside the sponge. And grape, grapefruit, orange, kiwi, strawberry, blueberry, and yellow peach are on top of that. The fruits all seem to be of good quality and have a good taste. The cakes of Baikaru is so-so expensive, but every cake is delicious with elegant sweetness and we wouldn’t feel make a loss.
