Something from ○○-san

Good morning!
This is Kurama Tengu(￣▽￣)b.

The word entered in ○○-san is, for example Ippodo-san.
The word entered in the back ○○ is, for example green tea.

There are many long-established stores in Kyoto, and every of these shops sell food products with higher quality and more deliciousness than sold in supermarkets. For this reason, just hearing that I bought ○○ in ○○ makes me think he or she bought delicious foods for us.

But it might be Kyoto people’ bilateral character that they feel the delicious food as “happy” or “envious” and at the same time they think “they used money wastefully again” in their belly. Actually, there is no limit for the delicious if we pay for it, and there are not a few people who leave the capital in the end after spending too much in eating hobby.

This is why many people whose many generations have been living in Kyoto are stingy and thrifty. I think they buys foods mainly in Life or Fresco or public markets.
