Although I have been here several times, this may be the first time I have felt healing. Under the clear May sky, I suddenly felt that way.

Today I am taking a walk in the Prefectural Botanical Garden in Ktiayama, Kyoto. The garden is a spacious place with a variety of colorful plants in full bloom.

Flowers in the flower beds

There are so many types of them.

Peony (red flower)

ぼたん。

Just looking at it in a picture has quite a healing power!

モッコウバラ。

Rose mokko-vara (Rosa laevigata)

A place where you can enjoy great nature and healing in the midst of the city. That is the botanical garden. Besides the beautiful plants, it is also great to go around the lush green park.

緑の木々の道。
Surrounded by green trees, the space in the park seemed to be filled with the power of nature as it is, which is just too good for the body. Ah, healing.

くすのき並木のトンネル。

Tunnel lined with camphor trees

The best of all worlds: nature as it is, healing the body and mind as it is.

There was also this beautiful fountain near Kitayama Gate.

噴水。

The park is rich in nature with a wide variety of flowers. And a beautiful fountain. All of these will soothe the minds and bodies of visitors to the park! Visitors can experience how people and nature live together by coming into contact with lush greenery and colorful, beautiful flowers. I thought the Prefectural Botanical Garden was such a place.

People, trees, and flowers all live the same life equally.

As I admired the flowers blooming in the park, I often felt the “sound of life” of the trees and flowers.

Everything is there as it is, blooming as it is, and living in its own moment. They are all living in their own moment, each carving their own moment. It is a wonderful sight. I encourage everyone to visit. It is a really nice place.
