Hello!
This is Kurama Tengu.
The Obon season was finally over, and the Obon break has come to an end. (Sad)
In Kyoto, we bid farewell to our ancestors on August 16 with the Gozan Okuribi bonfires.
This year, some friends of mine came over to my house to watch the bonfires.
We can see both the “Daimonji” and the “Hidari Daimonji” from my house.
This is what the “Daimonji” looks like.
It’s burning brightly.

And “Hidari Daimonji” looks like this.

Also, since the characters “Myo” and “Ho” should be visible from where I move. I moved to a spot where I could see them.
I managed to catch a glimpse of them before they disappeared!

We regrettably missed the character “Ho”! (Time was over.)
I’m sure this means my parents’ sprits have returned to the afterlife.
One of Kyoto’s major summer events has come to an end.
I’m so grateful to everyone who organized it!
It’s a shame I missed the live broadcast of the summer fireworks this year.
Let’s do our best at work! 🙂
