Hello to everyone in Japan and all humanity around the world. Today, I’d like to introduce my recommended shop in Kyoto.
Here it is.
Does everybody know this shop? It is called Ito Hisaemon located in Gion Shijo and offers Kyoto Uji tea and transmits new values of the tea while cherishing traditions being inherited from in Edo era.
As the shop being such, it handles mainly various Matcha products. And to my surprise, there were a product called Uji Matcha curry there. I was surprised with this. I wonder what taste it has.
Else, for example, there are like this.
If you buy it as a souvenir, you may be pleased.

Oh yes, and there is something else unusual that I would like to introduce.
It is this one.
Matcha Puffait Ice Cream Bar – Strawberry (680 yen)
How about this ice cream bar? It is beautiful, isn’t it? The ice cream is reminiscent of feather board, with oversized strawberries and matcha ice cream spread on top. This is probably the first of its kind that can only be experienced here.
There are various kinds of these ice cream bars.
It’s one of the best on a hot day. Please try one.
In addition to these, the second floor is a café space where you can enjoy match soba noodles and matcha sweets.

Ito Hisaemon is a Uji tea shop that offers a wide variety of attractive Uji tea products, cold ice cream bars, matcha soba noodles, and other sweets. I recommend you try it once.
